I appreciate the suggestion. The problem we're getting hung up on is
licensing. I'm not writing software for in-house development or else this
wouldn't be an issue. Since we distribute it to third-parties I have to
find a viable inexpensive vendor whose drivers I can repackage with our
software.
I know the preinstalled HP, Apple, and other major printer companies PS
drivers work. I've tried to push this through management to pursue
having the client install their own PS printer, but that angle hasn't worked
so far.
