Subject:	OLE - intermittent "error calling external object"

Hi,
I posted this in the general forum a few weeks back but it
might be better here:

we're having an intermittent problem writing to Microsoft
Word files from Powerbuilder. I don't think the problem is
within Powerbuilder but I was wondering if anyone had come
across a similiar problem.
Occasionally when creating large Word documents using OLE
from
Powerbuilder the process will stop creating the file and
display an error like "error calling external object
function typetext at line ...."
I don't think it's data related as it has written identical
data earlier in the file before it stops. We haven't been
able to isolate it to particular servers. We've tried
writing to different locations with the same result.
We have changed the criteria to write a number of smaller
files rather than 1 large file and that works fine. However
most of the time we can create larger files without a
problem too.
As I said I'm just wondering if anyone else has encountered
the same problem with OLE.
