问题已�解决，原�我少安了软件。��把需�的软件都安上就�以了：
yum install jade jadetex psgml sgml-common

似乎官方文档有点问题，
 http://doc.php.net/php/en/dochowto/c88.php 
和
http://doc.php.net/php/en/dochowto/chapter-tools.php
�是第二章，但内容��相�，c88没有�到以上用到的软件，
而chapter-tools.php��到了。
而正常�览的情况下，我看到的都是c88.php的版本。
