Hi,
I was trying to build PHP on windows XP using Visual studio command prompt.
My Visual studio details are as below:
Microsoft Visual Studio 2008
Version 9.0.21022.8 RTM
Microsoft .NET Framework Version 3.5
Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 91899-270-7136112-60679
Microsoft Windows SDK v6.0A
I got following error:
c:\work\php-5.2.5\main\network.c(897) : error C2065: 'in6addr_any' :
undeclared identifier
c:\work\php-5.2.5\main\network.c(897) : error C2440: '=' : cannot convert
from 'int' to 'IN6_ADDR'
NMAKE : fatal error U1077: '"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio
9.0\VC\BIN\cl.exe"' : return code '0x2'
Stop.
But when I commented line no 897 of php-5.2.5\main\network.c, I got it built
successfully.
Any suggestions why it failed initially.
Regards,
