Best thing to do would be install something like WAMP server and see if
that works. Also, you should try <?php phpinfo(); ?> as your testing
page - then you can rule out that it is the software issue and the
problem lies with your code.

I don't seem to understand what is the issue but looks like it has not
installed properly as I am unable to execute this simple php page.
