I am in dialogue with a client on what characters to allow submitted  
in a web form as a consultant I could just do as the customer tells me  
or I could come with a recommendation.

request a consensus on this. I do not really like: * ' " and perhaps #

What characters to you allow and which do you not allow or do you have  
a technique/module (CPANish) to handle this.
