Builds and tests fine for me with instant client 11g on linux against 
Oracle 10.2 XE and with Oracle 10.2 XE (client and server). Only these 
observations:

Oracle.xs:252:43: warning: "/*" within comment
Oracle.xs:253:5: warning: "/*" within comment
   due to closing comment being the wrong way around

Oracle.pm:3203: Unmatched =back
   due to missing =over underneath "Below are the limitations of Remote 
LOBs;"
