Incidentally, it would have been the removal of the _Inline directory that 
triggered the failures. While the _Inline directory was in place there would 
have been no need for the scripts to recompile when they were run - and 
everything would have seemed normal. But when you removed the _Inline 
directory, it then became necessary for the scripts to recompile -  which is 
when the problems would have arisen.
