Perl development with Catalyst and DBIx::Class on a web application.

The project is called PayPerLive. It's an extension of our highly
successful product Stickam ( http://www.stickam.com )

It will require integration with our existing live video streaming platform
as well as customization and additional features.



Launched in February of 2006, Stickam.com emerged as the first social
networking website that focuses on live video streaming, reaching over a
million streams viewed each day.

Stickam consists of 2 parts: The Player and the Site.

The Stickam’s multimedia player can be embedded onto any website and allows
members to personalize their web pages with live stream, video, music,
pictures and chat.

Stickam site is a destination for exiting live streams and interaction with
other members. Thousands of categorized live streams can be found on
Stickam 24/7.

Stickam.com provides high-definition wide-screen format for live streaming
Internet video.


Required skills:
Catalyst, DBIx::Class, MySQL (or other RDBMS), SQL, HTML, CSS, Linux.

Desired skills:
Flash (ActionScript 2/3), database replication, database optimization,
backend processing (cron jobs, daemons, queuing systems, etc). Memcached,
MogileFS, Varnish, HAProxy, Squid, ...
