I've never heard of that list before - the most active one I know of for
perl on OS X is macosx@perl.org.

Note that MacPerl is the name of the application bringing Perl to
pre-OS-X Macs, *not* the name of perl on Mac OS X.  Like other Unices,
we just call that "perl". =)
