Subject:Re: [perl #38255] [TODO] YAML::Parser::Syck for parsing YAML
I can do some work on this. But I would need some help on part of Parrot
internals and how really a callback structure will work (maybe Bernhard can
help with this one).Some time back I have done C - code on the Syck side
which handled most of the things, like loading and dumping the YAML data
structure, just like Syck 0.55 ver for
Python and YAML::Syck from Audrey.
It worked for the most of the YAML data structures, but not for routines or
Parrot IO pmcs. Currently the C code is broken due some missing or changed
functions in Parrot,
like string_from_cstring (Parrot_str_from_cstring is I think not yet
implemented in Parrot 1.4.0..).

Regards,
Toni
