=?UTF-8?B?8J+Ps++4j+KAjfCfjIg=?= malarkey). Editing the "Re:" in the subject to "Ye:" prevents the
=?UTF-8?B?8J+Ps++4j+KAjfCfjIg=?= error, but the resulting article no longer will be threaded correctly.

You might want to report this bug you've discovered to Mister Wang who is in charge of your newsreader's github project.

You see there is no post <[email protected].🏳️‍🌈> and never was.  Your stupid broken newsreader translated perfectly fine ASCII text in the MID into a multibyte char and then tried to use that mangled MID as a "reference" when it's poor addled programmer should have known full well not to modify or decode the MID for anything but display.
