What did banning alt.checkmate do?  I haven't seen any difference, except 
for me and mixed nuts.  We didn't spam, or hardly reply or cross-post, but 
we were the victims of nazi servers not giving freedom of speech.  The two 
of us were hardly a drop in the bucket.  They should have snipped the 
accounts of the people abusing their service, instead of their customers.
