She became fairly unpleasant during that time. Bored, lonely, brain damage... I’m not sure which, but she became kind of weird and not fun to be around anymore. Then when we got the two baby hens, she became even more intolerable and pushy. I wish I had thought to put dog silhouette decoys in the yard. They deter birds of prey. I see them on the way to work, in fields where farmers have lambs and chickens and duck, I wish I had thought to get some. I feel really guilty for not thinking of it.
