A 17-year-old boy was killed in a shooting Saturday afternoon in Forestdale, according to the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office. An 18- year-old has been arrested and charged with murder in connection to the shooting. Deputies responded to the 700 block of Mohave Drive around 2 p.m. Saturday on reports of shots fired. When they arrived, they found the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene. A suspect was developed in the case and was eventually taken into custody. The suspect is being held without bond in accordance with Aniah's Law.
