Dates back to the early days of the US Army's rocket programs.

Which unfortunately has often meant "when all you have is a hammer, 
every problem is a nail" philosophy:  propose an expensive rocket and 
use politics to kill cheaper bullets.  There's even been some S&T spent 
on cigar sized "wrist launcher" rockets for infantry.


But more to the point, it isn't cheap to move a command HQ, and the 
investments have already been spent in Colorado.  As such, the key 
question is what specific military capability and readiness are going to 
be reduced through budget cuts in order to pay for these new facilities?

So much for "most lethal" Hegseth.
