Hoover City Schools Employee Arrested on Obscene Material Charges

HOOVER, Ala. (WBMA) — A Hoover City Schools employee has been arrested
for two counts of Dissemination of Obscene Material related to an
ongoing Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Unit investigation. 

Darrell W. Alldredge, 51, was placed on administrative leave after the
district said it was notified of allegations involving the employee. A
search warrant was carried out by the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency
(ALEA) State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) in reference to the ICAC
investigation. 

The Odenville man was later found and arrested in the 1000 Block of
Buccaneer Drive in Hoover. 

The district said it is cooperating with the ALEA as the agency conducts
its investigation. Allredge was booked in the Jefferson County Jail.
