I was 19, I was hanged for almost four minutes. Lost consciousness fairly q=
uickly, in about ten seconds, and when I was cut down, I was so close to ne=

5- to as long as 30-minutes for my heart to stop.

I had a much different experience that day I hanged myself.  I didn't find =
it anywhere near as painful as people have written.  I remember feeling thi=
s weird euphoric sensation when I stepped off the chair and let the noose t=
ighten to strangle me.  Then, as I passed out, which took quite a few secon=
ds before I did, I felt so calm and if I had to say it, it was a pleasurabl=
e feeling.  Maybe it was the frame of mind I was in and how I approached it=
.  But, like I said, I was only hanged for less than four minutes.  The per=
son who cut my body down had a lot of trouble reviving me, but, once I came=
 around, I was reasonably okay.  At least I didn't have to be taken to the =
hospital.  I remember too that the only adverse effects I had was my neck w=
as badly bruised and it really hurt, and my throat was sore and felt dry.  =
The one effect I didn't have was a headache, which a lot of people claim th=
ey got when they tried to hang themselves.
