This collection includes landscape designs, site plans, and other drawings = for residential and commercial projects in western Washington State. These = works were chosen by Thomas L. Berger and Steven P. Shea to be included in = the collection, based on their judgment of historic or professional signifi= cance. The drawings are arranged sequentially using the Berger Partnership's proje= ct numbers. For many projects there are multiple drawings, which have been = grouped together. For items in digital format, all files are stored on one = compact disc. The conference aims to survey the applicatio= n of Berger's richinterdisciplinary work across a range of fields and disci= plines: literary studies; visual arts;art history; philosophy; creative wri= ting; film production and education;performance; drawing; photography; cult= ural geography; critical and cultural theory. During the image extraction process, DCL identified text in images that is = more accurately represented in XML as source content, captions, or notes. D= CL keyed the text into the XML and cropped the corresponding part off the i= mage files. This is not to say that before the invention of the camera men believed tha= t everyone could see everything. But perspective organized the visual field= as though that were indeed the ideal. Every drawing or painting that used = perspective proposed to the spectator that he was the unique centre of the = world. The camera - and more particularly the movie camera - demonstrated t= hat there was no centre. Now it hangs in a room by itself. The room is like a chapel. The drawing is= behind bullet-proof perspex. It has acquired a new kind of impressiveness.= Not because of what it shows - not because of the meaning of its image. It= has become impressive, mysterious, because of its market value. Adults and children sometimes have boards in their bedrooms or living-rooms= on which they pin pieces of paper: letters, snapshots, reproductions of pa= intings, newspaper cuttings, original drawings, postcards. On each board al= l the images belong to the same language and all are more or less equal wit= hin it, because they have been chosen in a highly personal way to match and= express the experience of the room's inhabitant. Logically, these boards s= hould replace museums. The image below shows the PCB layout above translated into Gerber files and= viewed in the CAMtastic viewer. When you create PCB Gerber files, informat= ion in each layer will be saved in its own file, and these files can be loa= ded into a new CAM document for inspection. The image below shows two layer= s from the above PCB layout. Here, only the silkscreen layer and copper fea= tures on the top layer are visible. eebf2c3492
