SWMBO is coeliac and the only crumpets she can get are just about 
eatable, but that's about all you can say for them. Making them oneself 
with gluten free flour is possible, but not worth the effort in view of 
the time involved and the quality of results. Shop bought GF bagels are 
a tad better.
