You know what I was thinking today about the election(s)?
1) what an incredibly different time we’d be living in right now, if Hilary
had won in 2016
2) trump had been saying since 2020 (including in his speech at the ellipse
on Jan6) that if Biden wins we “won’t have a country anymore”. Am I the
only one who remembers that he said that, and noticed that we still have a
country?
3) and I honestly think we might have been better off (just a little bit)
if trump had won in 2020. Because he was already in office and still didnt
have all the gears set up, like he’s had for the past 4 years, to prepare
to destroy the country. And there were still normal-ish people in his admin
and the government, the media hadn’t been terrorized yet, maga was a cult
but they weren’t so powerful yet, neither were the oligarchs involved yet,
and trump didn’t have absolute fealty yet then. There would have been no
J6 and no total immunity from scotus, because there’d be no court cases
until after he left office.
The only problem is he’d probably have figured out by now how to run for a
third term.
