Character and Responsibility

There are many people who say that one’s character is one’s responsibility. Then these same people say that people’s character is forever and that people never change.

What they are saying is mutually contradictory. If people’s character is their responsibility then they have the ability to change it; and if people’s character is beyond their ability to change then it is not their responsibility.

This mentality is useful only for conducting witch hunts and being vicious to people. It is cruel, it is stupid and it is wrong.

The more people see through such things, the better it is for everyone.
