Counter-proposal: how about prosecuting anyone who supplies a drug under the more punitive laws against drug dealing? Someone who gives drugs to a "friend", or provides drugs to a lover, or as a payment for services rendered certainly merits the definition of a drug dealer, and an especially dangerous drug dealer, an enemy posing as a friend. Prosecute every overdose as a manslaughter, as the drug provided did not contain an ingredients list or disclosing it's strength, and proof of it's safety and effectiveness. >> >> Shutting down our Pharmacies (Rite Aid) for the drug war, is criminal. If it's a drug war I haven't heard of any corrupt officials being charged with the most serious crime of treason. Certainly every drug trafficker is a traitor or a soldier of a foreign power. The high death rate in the drug world is caused by corruption, not laws against drugs. Practically the world drug traffic requires corruption to operate. But you drug legalizers make no complaints about this corruption, as that's how drugs are produced. The best friends of criminals are the corrupt. >> >> There would be no Opioid crisis if Codeine were sold as it was, at Rite You are completely ignorant of narcotics by your suggestion that legalizing codeine suppresses other opioids. You are inserting current anti-prohibition politics over the past. And get your facts right: Capone and the gang openly advocated repeal of prohibition, just like drug dealers openly advocate legalizing drugs. There is an army of thugs behind legalization, and the lying slogans about Only Criminals Support Prohibition shows how dishonest the legalizers are. >> manufacture of alcohol, yet Jesus turned water into wine. What the U.S. is, is called "criminal oppression." There you go, you say laws against drugs are criminal oppression. Counter-proposal, how about you crusaders for drugs first demonstrate the safety and good will of the drug dealing community, then, and only then, can we begin the debate on drug legalization? It would be great to not have drug prohibition, if it weren't necessary. But the malicious and criminal nature of drug proselytizers is proof that drug prohibition is needed. The evil of the drug legalizing people makes it obvious that their demands must be fought against. Their malice, their sadistic hatred of the weak and defenseless, is itself criminal minded. Burglars, rapists, gangs, corporate crime, murderers, corrupt officials, etc., all want drugs legal, which is a great reason for normal people to oppose your demands, under the common sense deduction that Like Causes Like. >> >> "The cause of freedom is not the cause of a race or sect, a party or a >> class——it is the cause of humankind, the very birthright of humanity." >> - Anna Julia Cooper, >> - On all U.S. Passports! >> >> >> >> The U.S. criminal justice system has not risen to the lofty level of "an >> eye for an eye," much less the ministry of forgiveness.
