Resigned effective Jan. 1, 2018, after a lobbyist said he pushed her 
into a bathroom during a Las Vegas social event and engaged in lewd 
behavior in front of her. A lawyer hired by the Legislature 
substantiated the claims following an investigation. A legislative 
panel denied his appeal Aug. 24. Dababneh has sued his accuser for 
defamation.
