Predatory lesbian teacher arrested, suspected of sexually assaulting student

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — San Diego police on Wednesday arrested a high 
school teacher they say is suspected of sexually assaulting a student over 
the course of more than a year.

Police say the student was 15 when Mt. Carmel High School teacher Stacy 
Michelle Walker, now 40, “began engaging the … victim in conversations 
that became sexual in nature.” Police say the two allegedly exchanged 
photos, videos and explicit texts, and that they allegedly met multiple 
times and “engaged in various sex acts.”

Police say the alleged assaults started in 2017 and continued into 2019, 
until after the victim turned 18.

In July, the victim reported the alleged assaults to SDPD, and the 
department’s sex crimes unit started investigating, police said.

Detectives arrested Walker this week following the nearly eight-month 
investigation and booked her into Las Colinas County Jail.

Walker has been on leave and has not taught at the school this school 
year, the principal confirmed in an email to families. The principal added 
an internal human resources investigation is underway.

Walker is scheduled to be arraigned Friday at 1:30 p.m. at San Diego 
Superior Court.

Investigators are seeking witnesses and other potential victims in this 
case. Anyone who has information about the incident or who believes they
