Wood Village, Oregon man arrested on 142 child sex crimes charges; More possible victims feared

WOOD VILLAGE, Ore. (KATU) — A Wood Village man was arrested on more than
140 counts of alleged child sex crimes on Thursday. Now, investigators
fear there could be more victims. 

Detectives with the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office received
information from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children
(NCMEC) on Monday about past and recent child sex abuse materials being
shared from a home in Wood Village, Ore. 

On Thursday, detectives served a search warrant at the home, located
near NE Pike Street and NE Kokanee Lane. While executing the search
warrant, detectives arrested 56-year-old Iosif Blashishen.

Blashishen was booked into the Multnomah County Detention Center on 142
charges, including six counts of first-degree sexual abuse, one count of
first-degree rape, one count of first-degree sodomy, and 67 counts each
of first-degree encouraging child sexual abuse and using a child in the
display of sexually explicit conduct. 

MCSO said it released Blashishen’s mug shot in order to help in the
search for any more victims.
