BCS exam is a most competitive examination in Bangladesh Public Service Com=
mission. For recruitment to the various Bangladesh Civil Service cadres. Th=
e examination is held on three phases - the preliminary, written and the vi=

BCS Recruitment Process
Part 1: Preliminary

Preliminary examination held in May/June every year. This Notification is p=
ublished about one month before the exam. Preliminary Results published abo=

Part 2: Written

Written examination is the main test, usually held in October/November/Dece=
mber every year. Notification is published about one month before the exam.=
 Results are published 6 to 10 months after the exam.

Part 3: Viva

Next week, the BPSC will initiate the process of 43rd BCS examination, say =
BPSC sources. Through the 42nd BCS examination, 2,000 doctors will be recru=
ited while the circular published.

A total of 814 education cadres will be recruited through the 43rd BCS. Bes=
ides, 300 cadres will be appointed in administration, 100 in police, 25 in =
Foreign Service, 35 in audit, 19 in tax, 14 in customs, 20 in cooperatives,=
 75 in dental surgeons, and 383 in other wings.

The BPSC has already finalised the process of the 42nd Special BCS. A speci=
al meeting is due to be held on Wednesday to fix the date for publishing th=
e circular.
