U.S. Virgin Islands Attorney General Denise George has been relieved
of her duties just days after filing suit against JP Morgan Chase
for allegedly “turning a blind eye” to evidence of human trafficking
being committed by Jeffrey Epstein.

On Dec. 27, 2022, George filed a federal lawsuit – in her capacity
as attorney general – in the Southern District of New York against
the U.S. banking giant.

Just days later, George was terminated from her position by U.S.
Virgin Islands Governor Albert Bryan Jr., a Democrat, after serving
in his administration for four years.
