MINNEAPOLIS — New video posted online is purportedly offering a new
perspective of Wednesday's shooting of Renee Good by an ICE agent.

Alpha News originally obtained and posted the video to its social media
accounts on Friday, saying that it is a cell phone video showing the
officer's perspective of the interaction with Good's vehicle in the
moments leading up to the shooting. NBC News also later obtained and
broadcast the video and shared it with KARE 11.

The video posted by Alpha News (embedded below) is unedited and contains
graphic language. The version of the video viewable above in this
article has been edited to mute expletives in the audio.

The video shows the agent stepping out of his vehicle, followed by a
brief verbal interaction between the agent and Good. At one point, Good,
in the driver's seat, says to the agent, "That's fine, dude, I'm not mad
at you." A woman outside the vehicle, believed to be Good's wife, then
has a longer interaction with the agent about the vehicle's license
plate. She says to him, "You wanna come at us?" and, "Go get yourself
some lunch, big boy." Moments later, another masked agent can be seen
approaching Good's vehicle, ordering her out of the car. The video then
shows Good appearing to turn the wheel away from the agent and starting
to drive. A voice is heard saying "whoa," as the cell phone gets
bobbled, with shots of the moving vehicle, the sky, and a brief frame of
the agent's masked face as gunshots are heard. A voice is then heard
reacting to Good with expletives just before the vehicle is seen
crashing a short distance away.

Other videos of the shooting posted to social media showed the agent
holding a cell phone in the moments leading up to the shooting.

The video is certain to add to the ongoing online discussion surrounding
the shooting. The Department of Homeland Security has said Good was
attempting to ram the agent with her vehicle. Others, including many
Democratic leaders in Minnesota, have challenged that narrative.

The agent has since been identified as Jonathan Ross, a former soldier,
border patrol agent, and deportation officer with ICE since 2015.

Vice President J.D. Vance reposted the Alpha News video on X. The Vice
President also wrote, "Watch this, as hard as it is. Many of you have
been told this law enforcement officer wasn't hit by a car, wasn't being
harassed, and murdered an innocent woman. The reality is that his life
was endangered and he fired in self-defense."
