Religion mostly seems to involve believing that something, God, exists, without supporting evidence. There does not appear to be an expectation that something will happen as a consequence. Indeed, much of the support for religious belief seems to form around explaining the absence of things happening, such as protecting churches from earthquakes, despite the supposed existence of God. OK, NOW you can probably reasonably conclude that I'm an atheist. Sylvia.
