Assassin's Creed: Assassins is a comic book series that explores the histor=
y and conflicts of the Assassins and the Templars, two secret factions that=
 have been fighting for centuries. The series is published by Titan Comics,=
 a British publisher of comics and graphic novels. The series was originall=
y planned to run for at least three years, starting from October 2015, when=
 the first issue was released. However, in 2016, Titan announced that the s=
eries would end with its fourteenth issue and be replaced by a new title: A=
ssassin's Creed: Uprising. This new title would also incorporate the charac=
ters and storylines from another comic series, Assassin's Creed: Templars, =
which focused on the perspective of the Templars.


The series follows the adventures of Charlotte de la Cruz, a young hacker a=
nd Assassin who is recruited by the Brotherhood to relive the memories of h=
er ancestors through a device called the Animus. She discovers that she is =
a descendant of Tom=C3=83=C2=A1s de Torquemada, a notorious Spanish Inquisi=
tor and Templar leader. She also meets other Assassins from different eras =
and locations, such as Giovanni Borgia, Galina Voronina, and Quila. Togethe=
r, they try to stop the Templars from finding a powerful artifact known as =
the Koh-i-Noor, which can control the minds of people.

Assassin's Creed: Uprising continues the story of Charlotte and her allies,=
 who join forces with the modern-day Templars in order to stop a rogue fact=
ion within the Templar Order called the Instruments of the First Will. The =
Instruments believe that they are serving the will of the ancient Isu, a pr=
ecursor race that created humanity and left behind mysterious artifacts and=
 technology. The Instruments want to use the Koh-i-Noor to awaken Juno, an =
Isu who was imprisoned in a digital realm called the Grey. Juno plans to en=
slave humanity and restore the Isu civilization. Charlotte and her friends =
must stop Juno before she unleashes a global catastrophe.
