If the video doesn't work, doesn't matter. Just Google the term...

Such "Studies" are flawed and easily twisted to serve any agenda.

The Dunning-Kruger Effect is apophenia!

The problem here is that people are drawing invisible lines,
artificial distinctions, in order to see what they want to see.

As an example, "Studies" show that bosses often have a *Very*
much higher opinion on their "Leadership" skills than do their
underlings. They consistently score themselves much higher in
skills than do their employees. Managers routinely see themselves
as great team builders (etc) when their employees see them as
so-so at beast.

Google it, for Christ's sake...

IT'S THE SAME THING! IT'S THE EXACT SAME THING!

The only difference between these studies of managers and their
self assessment & the Dunning-Kruger Effect is the name. Some
idiot drew an invisible line.

These managers are outside the Dunning-Kruger Effect because
reasons, and I don't have to tell you what they are."

And what does this mean?

It means that either such "Studies" prove that the Dunning-Kruger
Effect isn't real, it's just someone imagining a pattern (bias
confirmation) or that there is enormous benefit to being an idiot.
Because would you rather be the boss, make a lot more money and
see yourself as brilliant than be an underpaid peon who knows that
they'll forever be taking orders from morons?

THERE IS NO DUNNING-KRUGER EFFECT!

It's apophenia! Which is to say, the phenomenon where people
perceive patterns/significance where none actually exists.

It doesn't exist. The Dunning-Kruger Effect doesn't exist, it's
imaginary. Yet the media will drill it into your skull, as
if most people will ever doubt what it tells them...
