I agree, all boys should wear full school uniform always. Parents, throw away your sons caual clothes and have them in full school uniform at all times. It also saves $ to buy cute clothes for your girls.

I understand mysteryman, but after a while, I think most kids grow to love their uniform and being in it. I can't even think of wearing casual clothes. Here's my story. I am 20, in second year at a Sydney uni and still have to wear my full school uniform at all times. My parents feel that uni is just an extension of school and I have no choice in the matter. I guess I am used to it as I have been in school uniform for 15 years now, but I know people at uni giggle at me and I have no friends. My uniform consists of black Clarkes school shoes, grey socks puuled up, grey wool pants, black belt, grey (short sleeve for summer, long sleve for winter) school shirt with top button done up, tight black tie and grey wool v neck jumper for winter. Only change from school to uni was tie (was with school crest) and no shorts for summer (thankfully a the school colours are on them). My daily schedule is morning mass, uni till 4, study 4:30-7:30, dinner, study 8-11. I do ballet Wed afternoon and Sat morning for 1.5 hours (started at age 7 as my sister was doing it and my parents made me as I didn't like other sports). My sister is five years older and only ever wore her school uniform to school because she was (and still is) a model, and our parents would buy her pretty/cool clothes for shoots with the money they saved on not buying casual clothes for me. This might sound weird, but I have always been happy with this as she has been my idol and am happy my sacrifice has seen her have fun and be successful (she does sometimes snicker with her friends that I am 20 and still have to wear my school uniform. On weekends (and holidays) I work at my parents motel as a domestic cleaner from 8-6 to pay for my uni degree, mass at 6, dinner and study from 7:30 till 10:30. I still call my parents Sir and Ma'am, speak only when spoken to and stand to attention when they are around. I have always had good grades, never been in trouble and think this strict upbring has been good for me and I thank my parents for that. Looking back, I feel all boys should be raised with this strong discipline as girls tend to behave. If in Australia, Lowes schoolwear is the best place to get your uniforms. Good luck.
