I feel your pain. I have neighbors who have lawn service that wakes me up with these things. Even with windows closed and a fan on for white noise they wake me up. But the local ordinance allows for it after 7 a.m. so I am helpless.

My neighbour's contractor takes two hours to do a five minute job every week. Pointless exercise - the wind just blows it back. Public enemy number one these brainless people. Should be outlawed. When I have told off my neighbour he has to remove his hearing protection, and I ask him - what about giving the rest of us some hearing protection? He just laughs it off as if I am the crazy one.
