Really shows how little the current administration cares about eradicating the Covid Pandemic when the CDC director can be over heard talking on a commercial flight about the new "witch doctor" installed as most favored advisor to 45 on all things covid. In any other modern administration facing such a crisis, the CDC director (even though this current CDC director is a lousy choice in the first place given his past history, at least he does finally grasp the dire situation we are in) would have a dedicated jet placed at their disposal so they can easily travel nationally and internationally to lead the fight as the world's premier disease control center. Instead this administration has reduced the CDC to a laughingstock organization that can no longer be taken seriously.

That's problematic language. The term 'witch doctor' typically conjures up an image of a caricaturized shaman-like figure, and that image is at least in part constructed through racial stereotypes. The term 'witch doctor' is also often used to deride and repudiate healers that don't practice 'Western' medicine. While there's certainly a lot of so-called healers that use junk science and magical thinking to prey on vulnerable and uninformed patients, there's also a whole lot of colonialist mindset bullshit that gets in the way of properly understanding and respecting alternative medicine that actually does work (or could be proven to work if anyone bothered to do real research on it intsead of dismissing it out of hand as witch doctoring). Redefine your handy terms accordingly.

^This administration is so far behind the curve in dealing with corona, might be time for them to consult some legit practitioners of non-western medicine. Can't hurt since masks are the only thing keeping us all alive right now.
