A few days ago, Bandit had some dirt on the tip of it's dome that looked like it's normal slit. Imagine my surprise when I tried to open it, it's real slit opened, obscured by the extreme thinness it sometimes has!
I wiped the fake slit off so I was sure I was looking at the right slit. There hasn't been a reappearance of the fake slit scince then.
