If your god is so benevolent and omni this and that, he should be fully understanding.

Anything less would indicate that this god is twisted and a psychopath, and NOT someone you would want to be with for eternity.

If your "God" really is the Bible says, we are all fucked regardless, and you will still have to lick his boots and force yourself to love him, with the ever present threat of helk hanging over your head, if you do make it to "heaven".

Remember, he is UNCHANGING. Your own Bible says so.

Best possible case: All of your memories are wiped and you get turned into a robot with no free will that chants "I love you God" for eternity. Everything that makes you YOU is gone, and you are a mere drone, but at least you won't run the risk of being sent to hell after 'making it to heaven'.

And perhaps I should clarify my position a bit further;
There is as much evil in your book as there is good, you cannot deny the immense suffering your, and pretty much every religion has directly caused.
Just as I am forced to admit that religious organizations have done much good in the world.
The thing is, religion is not necessary to commit those kind acts, while religion IS necessary to justify the evil ones.
