ATHEISM WILL TRIUMPH

 Because Atheism deals with science and reality, while religion deals with fairy tales, and a "god" no one can see, hear, smell, or touch. And those who "hear god" turn out to just be in need of psych meds.

Religion and it's hate/murder/death/kill will disappear, and Atheism will triumph forevermore!

There are skeletons being found in Africa, where a massive portion of the Bible took place. Those skeletons are giant-sized. Goliath wasn't the only giant mentioned by the Bible, just the most famous one. Lee Strobel, a former atheist, also investigated the Bible to prove it wrong. There are very few people who can say they were as desperate and motivated to prove it wrong as he was. Every hole he found he tried to exploit, but couldn't. The book he wrote to explain it is called The Case For Christ. It was even made into a movie. Science does prove the Bible to be true. 

I want to be clear: I am not trying to convert or save you. I am not trying to change your opinion. I agree that many evil things have been done in the name of God. That's the problem with Christianity. Not many Christians actually read the Bible or understand it when they do read it. To understand it as well as humanly possible takes a lot of deep study that not many people care to trouble themselves to do. The "Christians" who hurt people are hypocrites. Jesus understood it better than anyone, and the only people who were "hurt" by his teachings and actions were the people who were actively working against him, aka the Pharisees. People have been genuinely hurt by those who applied a skewed and distorted understanding of how they as Christians were commanded to treat people. There is a huge difference between being strong in the faith and hammering someone over the head with a Bible. The fact that most people who claim to be Christians are hypocrites frustrates the ever-loving snot out of me because they hurt so many people and make life ridiculously hard for the rest of us. If a movie makes fun of Muhammad or Buddha it's religious discrimination. If a movie makes fun of Jesus, it's comedy. If I go anywhere other than a church and I say I'm a Christian, half the time I'll get either "so am I" or a polite "I'm not, but this sounds like an interesting conversation and it's okay if neither of us changes our opinion." The other half of the time, I'll get insults and accusations and get yelled at.

So they found giant bones, that's great. This proves nothing as there were many species of higher apes ready to turn 'human', though only one managed to survive and become modern humans. I'm not surprised some of these would turn out to be "giants", as organisms often go through drastic mutations.

There has never been any hard evidence of a god, any god making contact with the Earth. Of course, it's impossible to disprove such a being exists, just as it's imposdible to disprove the existence of a planet inhabited by flying talking horses.

People are killing, hating, and controlling people over a being that has never proven to exist, nor matches any god figure man has cooked up. This is stupid, and I am not going to rely on man made "holy books", which were clearly written in a way to get the masses to bow to the writers', or the rulers who told them to write those books wishes. It's incredibly stupid, and foolish to do otherwise.

The only reason the Abrahamic religions hold power over anyone is due to inertia, and building impressive buildings to try to back up those religions. If I were to write a holy book today, most likely I would be called a kook and laughed out of the room, despite it being just as valid and provable as the Bible. However, I might get a few followers and it could snowball from there.

This is likely how the Abrahamic religions started, and those 'prophets' most likely were ridiculed left and right, but then a few people fell for what they had to say.

Hell, look at Scientology. It's not even close to a century old, yet they manage(d) to draw huge numbers of 'believers' into their wackiness. :\
