BLM SUPPORTERS
To any and all BLM supporters out there, I have a question. But first let me explain my reason for said question. Last night in flint, Michigan, a 3 yr old was killed in a drive by shooting. Sitting in his house. Now if you support this movement, why do i never hear someone asking those who started this to accept responsibility and denounce acts of violence like this? The 3 suspects were all black teenagers, not a white cop, or a white person to be found any where near there, yet BLM is in protest to white on black crimes. I don’t get it. How can someone get behind this debacle of a movement, when a tragedy like this happens way more than a white cop killing a usually not so innocent black person. Why do I never hear them say “ to all you gang members and thugs, we will not tolerate your recklessness and wicked attitudes for your own people. How can someone honestly believe a black life matters? Because if breona Taylor was just randomly killed by another black person “say her name” wouldn’t exist. And leave your politics out of the answer, this isn’t a right vs left issue, it’s a human issue.

I’m the poster of the question, I don’t find you funny or appreciated. I am not racist, I asked a serous question. I want these young black people to start taking responsibility for their actions and recognize that if they want a better future they better quit killing their own kind and blaming the wrong people .

hey dude, I'm here to actually answer. As far as my understanding, blm is more about protesting the systemic racism in america, ie the judicial system, the education system, the police system, etc. while this life obviously does matter and is a serious crime, BLM is more centered towards protesting the societal issues over crimes that black people are affected by. Obviously this is terrible and my heart goes out to the family, but this is just straight up murder and not systemic oppresion. I hope that makes sense. This is a totally valid question, and the answers above are actual dickwads.

Fair enough, but you can’t have it both ways. Because where does that systemic racism start? If this is the mentality of a majority of the young black population, how can they expect to be treated? How can you say respect my life but I’ll be damned if I’m going to respect yours? The double standard has to be acknowledged by those that yell and scream about the backlash that they face. I’m tired of nobody saying this. Because if you stand up and say this, your a racist. That’s the new race card. Thanks for the reponse

"Trumper" is good example of why Covod needs to end so the little tykes can once again be warehoused in the classroom, and not playing on computers all day.
I agree with "Rj", and I feel BLM has been dogmatized, reduced to inane simple slogans, while the hard, unpleasant questions are dodged or the people who ask them are labled racist.
The "MAGA" movement is the same way. Soundbites and simple thought does neither any good.
