Terror level elevated to High during massive power outage
During the massive heatwave a couple months
ago which shut down the power grid in
most of JJS, the Arun government
raised the national terror threat level
to High, in anticipation of terrorists
using this event as an oppurtunity to
carry out an attack.
Commercial and civilian planes were
grounded, but jet fighters flew through the
skies of Arus, ready for anything.
High is one step lower than Severe, the
highest level on the scale. Severe means
an attack is believed to be imminent, or
is in progress.
With city residents packed into subway stations, and other public areas to keep cool, they were a prime target for an attack.
Soldiers carrying machine guns and wearing full body armor kept watch both in these places as well as the streets.
