 Magnitude 5.7 quake stikes 60 miles off the coast of West Island, JJC 5:28pm

 The city of Joclyn-Joyce got startled during the afternoon home commute when an earthquake rattled the city.

 "I heard a rumble, there was some shaking, a sharp jolt, then another slightly stronger sharp jolt, then the rumble faded" A Manhattan, JJC resident told WJJC news.

 Seismologists believe it was an aftershock from the devestating 8.4 North Sea quake of last year.

 There have been thousands of aftershocks, some quite significant for the past year up and down the JJS coastline. Scientists advise residents of north JJS to expect continuing aftershocks from that event for years to come.


 There are no immediate reports of damage or utility disruptions from today's quake, and all train lines are running normally.
