KTKV Channel 66 Bentonville, JJS - was a UHF station that operated in Bentonville between the years 2172 and 2193 that showed music videos and comedy, as well as other off beat programming produced in house as well as sourced from elsewhere. It was famously known for an inhouse music video titled "No More Madonna" produced at the station which was located in downtown Bentonville, JJS back in 2183.

 KTKV came back on the air in 2213 as DTV channel 18 that shows old classic TV shows and it's primary subchannel (1) known as Retro Rewind. From 2213 on it's studio is located at and operated by KHAS 12.

"I have a very recent incident to tell about that 'discipline problem kids' school here in Bentonville, SJJ, the incident that somehow didn't make the headlines on WJJC, KHAS, or any other major news outlet.

Scenario:

Little chuckums has one of his meltdowns 
and starts hitting and biting students. 
The teacher runs to the special phone 
that is there to call in the "football team" 
aka school mental ward orderlies to restrain 
and carry off the little tyke to whatever 
holding area the school has so he can "calm 
down". But the teacher takes a thrown school 
desk square in the head and is knocked out 
cold (why the fuck they even have desks in 
there when those kids don't learn anything 
is beyond me) and chukums runs over, rips 
the phone off the wall, and bashes 
his "teacher"/babysitter in the head with it a 
few times before throwing the set through a window.

The "football team" rushes in and sees the 
same carnage they have seen many times 
before with this kid: A teacher with horrific 
head injuries who is shortly rushed to the 
hospital and put into a medically induced 
coma, kids all injured and broken up, and a 
completely trashed classroom.

And the Skeeeewl does nothing and lets it 
all happen all over again, like they always do. 

 McDonalds seems to be a better/safer line of work. Even considering the low pay and the monsters who sometimes enter the eatery

"I picked up a vintage talking clock from a thrift store in the Wards district. It's the one with the little record inside that makes it speak the time. Whenever it gets to the 11pm mark, it says "1 Hour high..o'clock" instead of "Nightime 11 o'clock". I don't know what that could possibly mean but it does sometimes have a problem reading out the correct hour but the minutes are fine. How can I fix this problem?" - JJC resident

Only thing is, there are extra tracks bracketing the hour and minute sets (the low/high tracks) which plays a message to indicate that the tone arms are miscalibrated and roughly by how much. So that's why you are getting the strange hour readings.

 These clocks were manufactured by the ton on East Island, JJC and were wildly popular in the early 2170s, and they have seen many years of use. The use of a rigid plastic record and long life needles was far more cheaper than a voice chip during that time, and the records last a very long time before they become noticably scratchy. And they can be easily changed out for records that are in 24 hour/military format, or have a different set of chimes, etc. Hopefully it's just a calibration issue with your clock, but it could also be that the mechanism for the talking record player is worn out and needs repair." - JJC Resident

I was working in the maintenence room of the underground mall in downtown New Boston, NBS when the bomb hit. I was standing at a control console with my coworker to the left of me, both of us checking guages and flipping switches. Suddenly, everything went white for a moment and I became confused and disoriented and I couldn't hear anything for a minute. When I came too I found myself standing up and still at the console. When I turned to ask my coworker if he knew what just happened, he was on the floor dead, literally cut in half. The big cavernous room all around us was a wreck of twisted metal and broken concrete. It was completely unrecongniseable as what it was only minutes earlier.

" When you arrive at the plant for work, the first thing you see is the huge Nazi flag on a 100 foot tall flagpole, and a quarter mile later, the high thick electrified fence surrounding the plant made of heavy train rails wrapped in razor wire, the tall watch towers, and the SS guards all with their high powered machine guns at the ready. You are not allowed to park your car anywhere close to the plant itself, and you must walk 1/4th of a mile to the front gate, which was configured as a prison sally port. There, the Schutzstaffel would search you up and down and make you walk through a full body scanner, both when going in and going out. 

The fence was actualy a double fence equipped with land mines and self firing shotguns mounted in the corridor between them.


... Once inside the plant, there are Nazi flags and portraits of Rudolph Weidmann hung throughout the plant. And you never even want to be suspected of Anti Weidmann or anti Party activities, because you may very well be marched out, made to kneel in the sand and dirt, and then shot in the back of the head, executed. A couple of my coworkers met this fate, as did many more before I started working at the plant.

A big contributer to the explosion was that the plant was being pushed well beyond it's saftey limits in a mad rush to produce the chemicals used to create superexplosives per the order of Rudolph Weidmann.  There were numerous tremors on the Broadway fault in the North Sea the night before the "big one". 5 of them, no more than a 3.5, but the number of quakes was alarming. That same night, there was a tremor in SJJ about 40 miles north of Bentonville, SJJ that cracked the I1 all the way from one side to the other, also cracking the low median wall from top to bottom, and residents. in the area felt it as a minor rolling quake.  Drivers didn't notice it happening and it wasn't until early morning that a road crew noticed the crack and called it in to the Arun Seismic Institute.  The same night, shortly after the I1 cracked, a woman in Midland City, MLS also saw her bedroom wall crack from floor to ceiling right before her eyes, with a minor rolling tremor felt right after. Minor quakes like this normally don't cause structures like a freeway or even drywall to develop cracks and it indicated that the Broadway fault was about to go. There were also numerous reports of "earthquake lights" during that night from JJC all the way south of Midland City, MLS. Near the 9.0 epicenter in Midland State, a farmer reported that his animals were acting very strangely, and he could hear sporadic low rumbling and booming noises in the distance despite the lack of any storms or construction or mining activity in the area at the time, and that his house had vibrated several times throughout the night.

Ask WJJC: "What is with the explosive/poison gas alarms in public buildings throughout JJC?"

 This is because JJC is a highly active seismic area and often methane gas pockets develop under the city because of this activity. So far this year, these alarms have activated 21 times within the city and those buildings were evacuated. The evacuation procedure that's followed is the same as if there was a fire in the building. Luckily the situation is normally handled quickly, and the building returned to operation within a day or two.

 A methane explosion took place in Brooklyn, East Island, JJC in 2224 when methane gas seeped up from the ground and into the basement of a 4 story brownstone apartment building causing a flash fire and major damage to the building. 2 people died in that explosion, and many more were injured.

JJC building codes require that all homes and businesses have a methane/general explosive/poison gas detector and alarm installed.

You may have noticed the small metal "smoke stacks" that are in place along the older routes the trains run underground throughout the city. Their purpose is to vent any methane gas that enters those old tunnels from underground. The newer tunnels are lined with thick layered sheets of a mylar like material to prevent the gas from leaking into those tunnels.
