Republican efforts that led to the Great Recession which the Democrats oversaw our recovery from. Republican efforts that led to Ditto the recessions of 1958 and 1991 and the Panic of 1907 which resulted in the creation of the Federal Reserve not to mention the many economic collapses of the post civil war period when the Republicans controlled everything for half a century. Pattern: Republicans get into office on the strength of various social and non economic wedge issues. After a few years they crash the economy. The voters throw them out and put the Democrats in. They repair the economy whereupon the Republicans get back in on the strength of various social and non economic wedge issues. Rinse, repeat.
