A new editorial is calling out the media for giving Colorado 
Democrat gubernatorial nominee Jared Polis a complete pass for his 
alleged assault of a former female employee, while reporting new 
evidence that corroborates the incident and alleges a pattern of 
“inappropriate” behavior from Polis.

Despite the fact that the complaint is backed up by a police report 
taken the day of the incident, the media have repeatedly downplayed 
the allegation by blaming “conservative websites” for reporting it. 
Even more disturbing, several “men in Colorado’s mainstream media” 
have given Polis “an unusual pass” for “violent” behavior towards a 
woman.

On top of this, the editorial reports that a “close friend” of 
Polis’s female employee “corroborates” the assault and bruises 
described in the police report and details an “inappropriate” and 
“intolerable work environment” created by Polis that led to the 
incident.

As the editorial notes, “contemporary society has no higher cause 
than protecting women from violence of any type.” Jared Polis, 
national and Colorado Democrats, and the media all owe Coloradans 
answers on why they are ignoring this fundamental obligation.
