?Traitors,? Mariska Hargitay, and Jimmy Kimmel among winners at the 2026 Creative Arts Emmy Awards

Dozens of awards are being given out during the two-night 2026 Creative
Arts Emmys, held ahead of the Primetime Emmy Awards. 

Over 100 winners are being announced at the Peacock Theater in Los
Angeles across Saturday. Sept. 5, and Sunday, Sept. 6. The two evenings
will be edited into a single broadcast, airing on Saturday, Sept. 12 at
8 p.m. ET/PT on FXX, serving as a perfect appetizer to the Emmys on
Monday, Sept. 14, hosted by Mariska Hargitay. 

So far, Hargitay is among the big Emmy winners, taking home two for her
documentary My Mom Jane, which was released last summer on HBO and HBO
Max. The SVU star received Outstanding Directing for a
Documentary/Nonfiction Program, while the film received Outstanding
Documentary or Nonfiction Special. 

The Traitors is also cleaning up, winning six statuettes on Saturday
night, including Outstanding Host of a Reality or Reality Competition
Program for Alan Cumming — his third win in a row. The series also won
honors for its production design, cinematography, editing, costuming,
and directing. 

Elsewhere, Octavia Spencer took home the Outstanding Narrator award for
her work in The Lost Women of Alaska, and Jimmy Kimmel won Outstanding
Host for a Game Show for Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? The Late Show
With Stephen Colbert also won five Emmys, including Outstanding Writing
for a Variety Series. 

Other major nominees this year are The Pitt, Hacks, Widow’s Bay,
Pluribus, Beef, and DTF St. Louis, most of which are up for awards being
handed out on Sunday night. This article is being updated with the Sept.
