And fire burns out the planets from the sky;

I'll be there with you by the gushing water, 
I'll be there with you by volcanic dust, 
I'll be there with you, O the heaven's daughter, 
When there is nothing left on earth to last.  

I love you with the fire of my being 
I love you with eternity in me 
I love you fully and when I am dreaming 
I love you more completely still - I see  

Your tender spirit and your evanescence 
The gorgeous passion of your beating heart, 
Your precious beauty and the true quintessence 
Of life within you, that no force can part,  

I'll love you till the fire burns out its ember 
And if we ever have to say goodbye 
Remember me; and also please remember 
I'll love you more completely when I die.
