I have Pluto conjunct Venus in Libra and Mars conjunct Moon in Cancer. An astrologer told me that this resulted in someone who had a very high and noble aspect as well as that of a weak little boy. I have found something better to do with my Mars conjunct Moon aspect and became a loyal, protective, attentive father. Many people here were of the belief that family is a bad thing. I believed the same thing, then I had family of my own and realized how wrong that attitude was. The problem is not with the value itself; it is with the misuses of the value. Parenting being done wrong does not impugn parenting. Parenting can also be done right, and Jonah and Jennifer, for one, have shown just how that is possible. I had a teacher who told me that the problem with the world was that smart people did not have children and stupid people did. For a long time many in feminism were calling women who became mothers "breeders" and "sluts." Their followers did not start families, leaving family institution under control of people who did not have their values. These people got to pass on their values; the feminism-influenced women didn't. In fact it is very much possible for there to be both family and intelligence. I treat my daughter as an intelligent form of life. When she does something wrong I explain to her why it is wrong, and she does not do it any more. I have never been violent toward her, and I have never been abusive toward her. Instead I have always been loving and affectionate toward her, and so far she has turned out well. So I came up with a better manifestation of Mars conjunct Moon in Cancer than what I had previously. Rather than being a weak little boy I became a loving father. Family does not have to be a bad thing. It can be a wonderful thing if it is done right. And the more intelligent people have children, the more they get to pass on their values and influence the world for the better.
