Is he really gone?

I mean, of course, if he's dead, or ill, or otherwise incommunicado, I
wish him well, but lord, did he get on my nerves with his facile self
confirmations, especially after I played with the idea of turning this
into a personal blog, by lack of less intensive routines. I must admit
he took it up in a grandiose way, showing what fool I would have made
of myself if I had continued.

I work better with IRC anyway, though that seems to be more and more be
hampered by politics that go nearly as far as here, interfering with
one's connections to the servers themselves. And how about one's
channel silently being redirected towards another that is dominated by
some woke self centered mod? A whole community put under the ground by
filthy IRC politics.

Someday I will find a group of philosophers on the same wavelength,
even if I have to educate them from the ground up!
