As a matter of fact, this claim is false, because you most definitely explicitly expressed the hope, and I'll locate the archived message on Google Groups if you transfer 50 euros to my Paypal wallet [email protected]. Yes, you most definitely explicitly stated that something in that ballpark was what you hoped, I do not definitely recall whether you explicitly said that you "hoped" I ended up on the streets, for that one you perhaps merely speculated it was plausible, but yeah what I wrote was actually pretty much the simple truth as could be confirmed by looking at the public record. You most definitely said you hoped that I would never re-enter the university system or even find employment at all, and for the possibility of ending up on the streets yeah I guess you merely remarked you found that plausible. So an accusation of telling "stupid lies" makes you look like an idiot, doesn't it, because there's obviously no possible way you could have been in any sort of reasonable position to think that on balance of probability I was deliberately lying. So you're a fool. But we knew that.

None of your fucking business, but yeah sure I have not obtained an interview for any university position recently, waiting on the outcome of application for Lecturer role at UNSW, also applying for plenty of corporate-sector roles in Sydney too.

Ratio of people who complete PhD to people who end up in tenure-track roles is roughly 8 to 1, I have attained nine peer-reviewed publications in journals of international repute with an h-index of 4, I was recently advised that I had had a publication accepted in Philosophia Mathematica, which is a highly distinguished journal, and I was told by the editor that a senior and well-respected figure had made a very kindly worded remark about my paper as a philosophical contribution. Furthermore there are two pre-prints of mine in the public domain which if accepted as correct will most certainly be regarded as extremely important contributions which will have a lasting impact on the field, and in one case will actually draw attention from the mainstream media, and sure in both cases you may well say that's a bit of a long shot, but you see the thing is you're clearly not reasonably in a position to know, and even if you turn out to be correct then yeah what of it. While there are those who have had a shot at the academic career path who have had better luck than me at holding down the kind of publication record required to stay afloat in the European or Australian academic job markets, it is obviously quite clear that I have developed my knowledge of pure mathematics, mathematical physics, and various topics in philosophy to a very high level and have made highly regarded contributions in mathematics and philosophy of set theory, and am considered by people who are well-established experts to be an important scholar who has valuable ideas, and that's independent of whether I manage to re-enter the university system. Furthermore I have no apologies at all that need to be made for the work ethic I displayed while employed in post-doc positions, or the work ethic I currently display in my job search efforts, and in addition my wife deeply loves me and fully supports me and will stand by me no matter what, and your pathetic words don't trouble me the least bit. And did I also mention, it's really time call a spade a spade, that I'm unfathomably smarter than you on every conceivable level and that includes potential to attain understanding of economics and very possibly even already existing understanding of economics, and it obviously bothers you no end and you desperate try to pretend that you think I over-rate myself intellectually speaking, and I find it funny. People whose opinions matter and observe the situation find it funny too. A few people might have a different opinion, but who cares, no-one with the slightest brain would take a different view to the one I do.

And on an unrelated topic, you suck. You have a long and well-documented public history of filling up newsgroups with vile sexist, racist, and homophobic comments, and clearly have no higher calling in life than seeking to pour words of bile and vitriol on other people in the fond hope that your words might cause pain, which in my case, just in case you're curious to know, they don't, sorry to burst your bubble. Your desperate efforts to cast aspersions on those who have felt moved by the thought of animal suffering to make a commitment to ethical veganism are simply pitiful, for reasons which I have clearly explained to you at great length over and over again, and it's laughably transparent that the effort you put into arguing about it is motivated by nothing more than a sense of personal insecurity about the fact that there are some people who genuinely care about ethics but you don't. It is just so totally obvious from your usenet posting history clearly on display for all the world to see that you do not genuinely care about any kind of meaningful moral norms and are also not a happy person.
