Friendly reminder: all the anti-vegan arguments posted on this group for 15 years are literally the easiest arguments to debunk in the world

`Let's put the crop death argument to rest once and for all. If you believe humans have rights, and if you are buying coffee and chocolate, or driving a car (and that's even totally putting aside possible anthropogenic climate change and risk of car crash), or buying cotton, then you absolutely are foreseeably and avoidably making an expected contribution to premature human deaths or human exploitation, that's humans who quite clearly have not given consent to bear the risk, or consent to the exploitation. You absolutely are doing this and can reasonably know it if you put the slightest effort into thinking about it or researching it, and in fact in the case of the "driving-a-car" issue it's actually clearly common knowledge, you can figure it out without Googling it if you just stop and think. But you still go ahead and use all those products anyway, don't you, one can almost guarantee, even though you say you believe humans have rights. So literally everyone on the planet is compromised in exactly the same way that vegans supposedly are, regardless of where you draw the line about what your circle of rights-holders is. So what's your fucking point? What are you even saying? Do you think that if you believe humans have rights you're morally obliged to stop driving? Yeah, good, go for it then, let's see you walk the walk. Of course there is a moral obligation to make every reasonable effort not to avoidably support processes that foreseeably harm beings in your circle of rights-holders, and of course living in the world as it is today you're not going to achieve complete perfection. So duh. What's news.
